Robin Eric Hahnel (born March 25, 1946) is an Americaneconomist and professor emeritus ofeconomics atAmerican University.[2][3] His academic work applieslibertarian socialist values to piecemeal economic proposals, critiquing both capitalist market economies and authoritarian centrally planned economies.[4]
