Roberto Andrés González Beltrán (born 19 May 1976) is aChilean formerfootballer who played as agoalkeeper.
González started his career atPrimera División de Chile clubO'Higgins. He progressed from the under categories club all the way to the senior team.
As a member of the 1998 squad, he got promotion to the1999 Primera División after being the runner-up in thePrimera B alongside players such asDarío Gálvez,Alejandro Tobar,Danilo Miranda,Iván Sepúlveda, among others.[1][2]
In 2012, González was runner-up withO'Higgins, after lose the final againstUniversidad de Chile in the penalty shoot-out.[3]
González won theApertura 2013-14 withO'Higgins. In the tournament, he played in 2 of 18 matches.[4]
In 2014, he won theSupercopa de Chile againstDeportes Iquique, being the goalkeeper of this match, and saving two penalty shoots at the shoot-out that won O'Higgins.[5]
He participated with the club in the2014 Copa Libertadores where they facedDeportivo Cali,Cerro Porteño andLanús, being third and being eliminated in the group stage.[6]
