Roberto Costa Cabral (born December 8, 1954, inSantos) is a formerfootball player fromBrazil. He played goalkeeper (height : 1,85m), mainly withAtlético Paranaense. He twice received theBola de Ouro award (Golden Ball in English) given to the best player in theCampeonato Brasileiro (Brazilian championship).
He has one cap with theBrazil national team.
He adopted the surname “Costa” to differentiate himself from “Roberto Dinamite” who played at that time. After twoParaná State championship, gained withAtlético Paranaense, he joinedVasco and was vice-champion of theCampeonato Brasileiro Série A in 1984.
