Hainsey was selected by theTampa Bay Buccaneers in the third round, 95th overall, of the2021 NFL draft.[5] He signed his four-year rookie contract with Tampa Bay on July 21, 2021.[6]
On March 12, 2025, Hainsey signed with theJacksonville Jaguars on a three-year, $21 million contract.[7]
