TheRobbins & Appleton Building is a historic building at 1–5 Bond Street betweenBroadway andLafayette Street in theNoHo neighborhood ofManhattan inNew York City. Built in 1879–1880, it was designed by architectStephen Decatur Hatch in theSecond Empire style. The building features an ornatecast iron facade andmansard roof; it was originally used for the manufacture of watch cases[3] and by publisherD. Appleton & Company.[4] It was converted in 1986 to residential use.[5][6][7]
The building was designated aNew York City landmark in 1979,[2][4] and was added to theNational Register of Historic Places in 1982.
