Robert Alan Dressler (born February 2, 1954) is a formerMajor League Baseballpitcher who played for theSan Francisco Giants,St. Louis Cardinals, andSeattle Mariners.
Dressler was drafted by the San Francisco Giants in the 1st round (19th overall) in the1972 Major League Baseball Draft and made his major league debut for the Giants in1975. On July 24,1978, he was traded to the St. Louis Cardinals forJohn Tamargo and purchased by the Seattle Mariners on June 7,1979. In his final major league season in1980, Dressler had a 3.98ERA in 149.1innings pitched.
