Rita Menu (born 1998 or 1999) is a New Zealanddrag performer who competed onseason 3 ofRuPaul's Drag Race Down Under.
Rita Menu is adrag performer. She wonKita Mean andAnita Wigl'it's "Drag Wars" competition.[1] In 2019,Logo TV's Michael Musto included Rita Menu in a list of the 250 best drag names.[2]
Rita Menu competed onseason 3 ofRuPaul's Drag Race Down Under,[3] placing seventh overall. She is among the only contestants in theDrag Race franchise to eliminate two competitors in a single episode;[4] Rita Menu eliminated Ivory Glaze and Ivanna Drink inlip-syncs to "Murder on the Dancefloor" (2001) bySophie Ellis-Bextor and "Holding Out for a Hero" byAdam Lambert, respectively.[5][6] On the fourth episode, Rita Menu impersonatedCardi B for theSnatch Game challenge.[7] Her performance landed her in the bottom two, and she lost a lip-sync againstFlor to "Secrets" byKylie Minogue.[8] One of her looks on the show paid homage to the character Riff Raff fromThe Rocky Horror Picture Show.[9]
