Riomaggiore, the southern-most village of theCinque Terre
The village, dating from the early thirteenth century, is known for its historic character and wine produced by the town'svineyards. Riomaggiore is in theRiviera di Levante region. It has a shoreline on theMediterranean'sGulf of Genoa, with a small beach and awharf framed bytower houses. Riomaggiore's main street is Via Colombo, where numerous restaurants, bars, and shops can be found.
Riomaggiore was featured in the 2014 driving video gameForza Horizon 2. The village was not featured as the central location but was referenced on various road signs.
