Rio Rancho Estates is anunincorporated community andcensus-designated place (CDP) inSandoval County,New Mexico, United States. It was first listed as a CDP prior to the2020 census.[3]
The CDP is in the southern part of the county, bordered to the east and south by the city ofRio Rancho. The southern border of the CDP partially follows theBernalillo County line. The community is 18 miles (29 km) north-northwest of the center ofAlbuquerque.
