Ridge Landing Airpark[1] (FAALID:4FL5), also known asRidge Landing Airport,[2] is a private useairpark located fournautical miles (7 km) west of thecentral business district ofFrostproof,Florida,United States.[2] The airpark is located betweenOrlando andTampa and equidistant toMiami andJacksonville. It is privately owned by John Fazzini.[2]
The airfield covers an area of 135acres (550,000 m2) at anelevation of 140 feet (43 m) abovemean sea level. It has oneasphalt pavedrunway designated 15/33 which measures 3,000 by 60 feet (914 × 18 m).[2]
Ridge Landing consists of grasstaxiways and all roadways separate. The runway haspilot-controlled lighting and is controlled by the Ridge Landing Homeowner's Association.
