Ricky Lynn Phillips (born October 7, 1952) is an American bass guitarist and was a member of the rock bandStyx from 2003 to 2024,[1] splitting duties with original bassistChuck Panozzo.[2] He has also played in Nasty Habit, as a member ofthe Babys andBad English, and withCoverdale-Page andTed Nugent.
Phillips and his former Bad English bandmateNeal Schon also played with formerMontrose membersSammy Hagar andDenny Carmassi on a live version of the Montrose song "Rock Candy".
