Rick Knox (born 1970) is an Americanprofessional wrestling referee signed toAll Elite Wrestling (AEW),[1] and has previously worked forPro Wrestling Guerilla[2] and theNational Wrestling Alliance.[3][4]
Knox began his career on theindependent circuit, notably withPro Wrestling Guerilla, and also refereed for the inauguralAll In event that led to the creation of All Elite Wrestling.[5] He made his AEW debut during the firstpay-per-view, on May 25, 2019, atDouble or Nothing[6]
On September 20, 2023, atAEW Grand Slam, Knox refereed anAEW International Championship match betweenJon Moxley andRey Fenix.[7] During the match Moxley suffered a concussion and rather than counting to three and ending the match, he instead allowed Fenix to perform a secondpiledriver on Moxley before ending the match.[8][9][10]
