James Rick Cassata (born November 17, 1947) is an American formergridiron footballquarterback who played seven seasons in theCanadian Football League (CFL) for five different teams. He led theOttawa Rough Riders to victory in the61st Grey Cup. He also played withThe Hawaiians in theWorld Football League (WFL) in 1975. He played atTonawanda High School before playingcollege football atSyracuse University. In 2002, he was inducted into the Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame.[1]
