Richard Phillip Egington (born 26 February 1979 inWarrington,Cheshire) is a Britishrower. He won a silver medal at the2008 Summer Olympics for Great Britain in themen's eight.[2] He was part of the British squad that topped the medal table at the2011 World Rowing Championships inBled, where he won a gold medal as part of the coxless four withMatt Langridge,Tom James andAlex Gregory.[3]

At the2012 Summer Olympics in London, United Kingdom he was part of the British crew that won the bronze medal in theeight.[4]
