Back at DC, Case inkedMarc Hempel's pencils on theSandman story "The Kindly Ones" and penciled a few pages in Hempel's style.[7][8] He illustratedJamie Delano'sGhostdancing limited series, the final story arc ofPeter Milligan'sShade, the Changing Man, andHunter: The Age of Magic withDylan Horrocks.[4] Since leaving the comics industry, he has worked extensively incomputer game illustration especially forUbisoft.[9]
Writer Grant Morrison decided to lend his unique talents to the Doom Patrol, and the team would never be the same again...Morrison was joined by penciller Richard Case.
Morrison needed someone who was equally at ease with the fantastic and the mundane, and Case fits beautifully.
