
TheRice Valley Wilderness is awilderness area nearBlythe andRice in theMojave Desert region ofCalifornia, managed by theBureau of Land Management.[1]
The 41,777-acre wilderness includes portions of theBig Maria Mountains, along with a stretch ofsand dunes that is part of one of the state's largest dune systems.[1] Congress designated the area as part of the 1994California Desert Protection Act.[2]
