Rhoifolin is a chemical compound. It is first isolated from plantRhus succedanea. The term "Rhoi" derived from generic name of plant Rhus.[1] It is aflavone, a type of flavonoid isolated fromBoehmeria nivea, China grass or ramie (leaf), fromCitrus limon, Canton lemon (leaf), fromCitrus x aurantium, the bigarade or bitter orange (plant), fromCitrus x paradisi, the grapefruit (leaf), fromOnonis campestris, thecammock (shoot) and fromSabal serratula, theserenoa or sabal fruit (plant).[2]
