Rhianne Gabrielle H. Barreto (bornc. 1998) is a British actress. Her work includes the filmShare (2019), theITV dramaHonour (2020), and as Rani Rekowski in theBBC One andAmazon Prime Video seriesThe Outlaws (2021–).
Rhianne Gabrielle H. Barreto[citation needed] was born around 1998[1] inKensington and Chelsea, one of nine children to mother Tracey Barreto, who is British, and father Ramsey Barreto, who was born in Iraq and is of Indian and Portuguese heritage.[2][3]
She attendedBishop Ramsey School, theNational Youth Theatre and theBRIT School.[1]
In 2018, Barreto was named as one of theScreen International Stars of Tomorrow.[4]
She appeared in the 2019Amazon Prime Video action drama seriesHanna (2019) and won the Breakthrough Performance award at the2019 Sundance Film Festival for her role inShare.[1][5]
Barreto co-starred alongsideKeeley Hawes in the 2020ITV drama seriesHonour, in which she played the sister of real-life murder victimBanaz Mahmod.[1]
She is one of the seven members of theensemble cast in the comic crime thriller seriesThe Outlaws, which premiered onBBC One andAmazon Prime Video in 2021. A second series, filmed concurrently,[1] was released in June 2022,[6] with a third series on 30 May 2024.[7]
She appears as British student Meredith Kercher inThe Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox, premiering August 2025, a Hulu mini-series.[8]
