Town of ancient Thrace

Rhegion, also called "Rhagion" or "Rhegium", (Ancient Greek:Ῥήγιον) was a town (sometimes described as a military compound) ofancient Thrace, inhabited duringByzantine times.[1]

Its site is located nearKüçükçekmece inEuropean Turkey.[1][2] AcrossLake Küçükçekmece from the site are the ruins ofBathonea.
