Reza Asadi (Persian:رضا اسدی; born January 17, 1996) is an IranianFootball player who currently plays forGol Gohar Sirjan in thePersian Gulf Pro League and alsoIran national football team.
On 5 October 2020, Asadi signed a two-year contract withAustrian Bundesliga clubSt. Pölten.[1]
On 27 August 2021, Asadi signed a one-year contract withPersian Gulf Pro League championsPersepolis.[2][3][4]
He made his senior debut againstRussia on 23 March 2023 in a friendly match.
During theMahsa Amini protests, Asadi supported fellow footballerAmir Reza Nasr Azadani, who was jailed as a result of the protests, by posting a picture of the latter with calls for theauthorities to not execute Azadani.[5]
