Rex L. Mirich (born March 11, 1941) is an American former professionalfootball player who was adefensive tackle in theAmerican Football League (AFL) and theNational Football League (NFL). After playingcollege football for theArizona State–Flagstaff Lumberjacks, Mirich was selected by both the AFL and the NFL in 1963. He was selected by theMinnesota Vikings in the 16th round (212th overall) of the1963 NFL draft and by theOakland Raiders in the 20th round (153rd overall) of the1963 AFL Draft. He played seven seasons for the AFL'sOakland Raiders (1964–1966) andDenver Broncos (1967–1969), and the NFL'sBoston Patriots (1970).[1]

In 2012, he was inducted into theCollege Football Hall of Fame.
