Revista Hispánica Moderna (Modern Hispanic Journal) is apeer-reviewedacademic journal which focuses on research in Hispanic andLuso-Brazilian literature and culture. It was founded in 1934 asBoletín del Instituto de las Españas atColumbia University. As of 2024[update] the editor is Graciela Montaldo,[1] a professor in the Department of Latin American and Iberian Cultures atColumbia University. The journal is published semi-annually by theUniversity of Pennsylvania Press. It is available online throughProject MUSE andJSTOR.
The Council of Editors of Learned Journals awarded theRevista Hispánica Moderna the 2009 Phoenix Award for Significant Editorial Achievement.[2]
