Relja Obrić (Serbian:Реља Обрић; born 22 April 2006) is a Slovenian professionalfootballer who plays as acentre-back for theSerie C clubAtalanta U23. Born in Serbia, he is a youth international for Slovenia.
Obrić is youth product of the Serbian clubs FK Milutinac andPartizan.[1] He moved to the youth academy of the Italian clubAtalanta on 31 January 2023 on a 2.5 year contract.[2] On 29 April 2024, he extended his contract with Atalanta until 2028.[3] He was promoted toAtalanta U23s for the 2024–25 season.[4] He was called up to the senior Atalanta team for a setUEFA Champions League match againstParis Saint-Germain on 17 September 2025.[5]
Born in Serbia, Obrić is of Slovenian descent through his maternal grandmother and Serbian descent through his other relatives, and holds dual Slovenian-Serbian citizenship.[6] He opted to play for Slovenia internationally.[7] He was called up to theSlovenia U17s for the2023 UEFA European Under-17 Championship.[8] He also made the final squad for theSlovenia U21s at the2025 UEFA European Under-21 Championship.[7]
