TheRejectionists are aninsurgent group operating withinIraq as of 2009.[1] As defined by theUnited States Army, the group is composed of members of the formerBa'ath regime, of whichSaddam Hussein was leader.[citation needed] The group is predominantlySunniMuslim.[2]
