Regionalist Party of the Leonese Country (Spanish:Partido Regionalista del País Leonés) is a regionalpolitical party inCastilla y León, Spain. PREPAL strives to establish a separate autonomous community (País Leonés orAutonomous Community of País Leonés) for the provinces ofSalamanca,Zamora andLeón, (parts of the oldKingdom of León), now in theAutonomous Community of Castile and León. This movement is known asLeonesism.

PREPAL was founded in 1980 byFrancisco Iglesias Carreño.
