Rav Yemar

Rav Yemar[1](orRav Yeimar[2] orRav Jemar;[2]Hebrew:רב יימר) was aBabylonian rabbi, of the sixth and seventh generations ofamoraim.

According toSherira Gaon, he filled the place ofRav Ashi as head of theSura Academy for five years (427-432).
