Rashkan Castle (Persian:دژ رشکان,romanized: Dež Rashkan) was a castle inTehran Province in northern Iran. It was located nearCheshmeh Ali,Shah-Abdol-Azim shrine andFath Ali shah inscription (Cheshmeh-Ali). It was built during theParthian rule of Iran.
The name comes fromArsaces I of Parthia, the firstking of theParthians. Some of the war items found there are now housed in theNational Museum of Iran.[1]
