Ramosetron (INN) is aserotonin5-HT3 receptor antagonist for the treatment of nausea and vomiting.[1] Ramosetron is also indicated for a treatment of "diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome in male and women".[2] In India it is marketed under the brand name ofIbset.

It is only licensed for use inJapan and selectedSoutheast Asian countries. In Japan it is sold under the trade nameIrribow.[3][4] and in India asIbset . 'Elsewhere it is commonly sold under the trade nameNasea and in India asNozia (150 μg/mL injection & 100 μg oral tablet).[5]
