Ramana Reddy (1 October 1921 – 11 November 1974) was an Indiancharacter actor,comedian and producer known for his works predominantly inTelugu cinema. In a career spanning 24 years, he acted in more than 200 movies. Ramana Reddy andRelangi were a comedydouble act during the era of early Telugu cinema.[1]
Some of his memorable roles are David inMissamma (1955), Karanam inRojulu Marayi (1955), Chinnamaya inMayabazar (1957), Kanchu Gantayya inGundamma Katha (1962). Ramana Reddy is the paternal uncle of Indian politician, and filmmakerT. Subbarami Reddy.[2]
