Sippy (born 6 March 1948) also known asRaj Sippy, is an Indian film director and producer working onBollywood films.[1][2][3] He was very prominent in the 1980s, with successful films, likeInkaar,Satyamev Jayate andMahaadev withVinod Khanna,Satte Pe Satta withAmitabh Bachchan, thenBoxer andBaazi withMithun Chakraborty He directedSatyamev Jayate, the come back film ofVinod Khanna after hisOsho stint.
He has also directedAkshay Kumar's debut filmSaugandh andSanjay Dutt -Jeetendra starrerThanedaar.
Sippy directed the unsuccessfulJimmy,Mimoh Chakraborty's debut film.
