Raj Kumar Gupta is an Indian film writer and director, known for his work inHindi cinema.[1] He made his directorial debut with the critically acclaimedAamir (2008).[2] He then went on to write and directNo One Killed Jessica (2011),[3] based on the true story of the murder ofJessica Lal which received both commercial and critical acclaim followed by quirky comedyGhanchakkar that starredVidya Balan andEmraan Hashmi.[4] In 2018 he directedRaid starringAjay Devgn which crossed100 crores.[5]
