Rainbow: A Private Affair (Italian:Una questione privata) is an Italiandramafilm directed byPaolo and Vittorio Taviani, based on the novelA Private Matter byBeppe Fenoglio.[1] It is the last film directed by both brothers before Vittorio Taviani's death in 2018.[2]
During the fighting of the liberation war in theLanghe, the partisan Milton is divided between the fights against theNazi-fascists, the friendship for the brigade companions and his clandestine love for Fulvia.
The film was shown in the Masters section of the2017 Toronto International Film Festival on 8 September 2017[3] and it was released in Italy on 1 November 2017.
