Raijieli Victoria "Rachel" Laqeretabua is a Fijianrugby union player. She has played forRichmond andSaracens in thePremier 15s. She made her test debut for Fiji in 2022 and competed at the delayed2021 Rugby World Cup. She also played for theFijiana Drua before joining theWestern Force in the Super W competition.

Laqeretabua played forRichmond in thePremier 15s before joiningSaracens in 2019.[1]

2022

Laqeretabua was named in theFijiana Drua squad for the2022 Super W season.[2] She made her Super W debut against theReds in round two.[3] She then scored her first try in round three against theWestern Force.[4][5] She featured in the match against theWaratahs, Fijiana Drua handed them their first Super W loss after a 20-game winning streak.[6][7] She played against the Waratahs again in the Grand Final, the Fijiana Drua went to win the Super W competition in their debut season.[8][9][10][11]

Laqeretabua signed with theWestern Force for the2023 Super W season.[12][13]

Laqeretabua was named in theFijiana squad for two test matches againstAustralia andJapan in May.[14][15] She was in the starting lineup in the test against theWallaroos.[16][17]

Laqeretabua was selected in theFijiana squad for theOceania Championship in New Zealand.[18][19] She scored a try in the 152–0 trouncing ofPapua New Guinea.[20][21][22] She featured againstTonga and scored a try againstSamoa in the final round.[23] In September she played in a warm up match againstCanada.[24] She was also named in theFijiana squad for the delayedRugby World Cup inNew Zealand.[25]

Laqeretabua made the Fijiana 23-member squad that faced the Wallaroos on 20 May at theAllianz Stadium, her side lost to the Australians 22–5.[26][27]
