TheRaetovari (orRaetobari,German:Rätovarier,Latin:Raetovarii/Raetobarii) were anAlamannictribe in the region of theNördlinger Ries in the west of theGerman state ofBavaria.^{[citation needed]} They lived in the upperDanube region.^[1] They were mentioned by theRoman historianAmmianus Marcellinus (330–395).^{[citation needed]}
