Radomir Đalović (Montenegrin:Радомир Ђаловић; born 29 October 1982) is a Montenegrin professionalfootball coach and a former player. He currently manages Turkish clubKayserispor.[1] In international competitions, he has played 26 matches for the national team ofMontenegro.
Born inBijelo Polje, Đalović began his football career in his hometown clubFK Jedinstvo Bijelo Polje. He was soon noticed by scouts ofRed Star Belgrade, who had just soldPerica Ognjenović toReal Madrid. Đalović, being a powerful and very athletic player, impressed the Belgrade side and signed for them, but later failed to make a lasting impression at the club. After only half a season, he was transferred toFK Železnik. Later, he played for the Turkish sideKayseri Erciyesspor, and had successful spells withZagreb andRijeka. He was known for his speed, agility, and athletic finesse, as well as impressivebicycle kicks.
In the summer of 2008, Đalović joined Romanian sideRapid București, after the club had paid Rijeka a transfer fee of€700,000. After one season with the club, Rapid Bucharest loaned him back to Rijeka for a season, and in the summer of 2010, after Rijeka had paid Rapid Bucharest a transfer fee of €50,000, he was officially a Rijeka player once again.
In March 2012, Đalović completed another transfer, this time toAmkar Perm, after the club had paid Rijeka a transfer fee of €450,000.
Soon after, in the summer of 2012, Đalović joined Iranian sideSepahan, after the club had paid Amkar Perm a transfer fee of €600,000.[2] Sepahan was coached byZlatko Kranjčar who had previously coached Đalović at Zagreb between 2002 and 2004. Although Đalović impressed during the2013 AFC Champions League group stage by scoring againstAl Nasr SC (Dubai) andAl-Ahli (Jeddah), Sepahan did not qualify for the knock out stages.
In February 2014, Đalović completed a transfer toChinese Super League sideShanghai Shenxin for an undisclosed amount.[3]
In June 2019, Đalović signed forOFK Titograd on a free transfer.[4]
He made his debut forMontenegro in an October 2007friendly match againstEstonia and has earned a total of 26 caps (22 official), scoring 7 goals, which places him sixth on Montenegro's all-time top scorer list.[5] His final international was a November 2011European Championship qualification match against theCzech Republic.[6] He retired on 18 February 2012 for personal reasons.
