Radolfzell station (German:Bahnhof Radolfzell) is the mainrailway station in themunicipality ofRadolfzell am Bodensee,Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is an importantjunction station in the western part ofLake Constance (Bodensee). The station is located along the standard gaugeHigh Rhine Railway line and is also the western terminus of theRadolfzell–Mengen railway line (the latter connects with theStahringen–Friedrichshafen railway line atStahringen). It is therefore one of the main nodal points of theLake Constance Belt Railway (Bodensee-Gürtelbahn).[2]
The station is served byIC,ICE (Hamburg-Altona–Konstanz, only on wekends),[3]RE and regional trains (RB,S-Bahn). TheSeehäsle (RB 32, Radolfzell–Stockach) was operated byHzL but is now run bySWEG as S61. The S61, S6 and RB 31 are part ofBodensee S-Bahn.[4] In additinion, theSchienenverkehrsgesellschaft mbH (SVG) operates services between Stuttgart and Konstanz Saturday/Sunday and during holidays.[5]
