She was previously managing editor atInc.com andCBS MoneyWatch.com. She is a recipient of the 2009Gerald Loeb Award for Online excellence in business journalism for the story "Middle Class Crunch".[1]

A graduate of theUniversity of Pennsylvania, Elson was previously an editor atMSN Money, theNew York Post, andSalon.com.
