RVMartin Sheen is asailboat owned and operated by theSea Shepherd Conservation Society. It is being used as aresearch vessel to study theplastic debris andmicroplastics contamination in the oceans, as well as researching marineoil spills.[2][3]
The ship was named in honor of the American actor and supporter of Sea Shepherd,Martin Sheen.[2]
