TheR725 road is aregional road inIreland. From its junction with theN80 on the western outskirts ofCarlow Town it takes an easterly route to its junction with theN81 inTullow, where it crosses theRiver Slaney on a bridge shared with the N81 in the town centre. It continues east toShillelagh inCounty Wicklow, turns due south for 6 km, then eastwards throughCarnew. It then entersCounty Wexford for the final 15 km stretch, terminating inGorey at theR772. The road is 53 km (33 mi) long.
