TheR418 road is aregional road inIreland, which runs north-south from theR448 at Kilcullen toAthy,County Kildare, and then to theN81 inTullow,County Carlow.

En route it meets and shortly later leaves theN78 in the town ofAthy, and also crossesR448 in the town ofCastledermot. The section between Athy and Kilcullen was formerly part of the N78 until the latter was rerouted to Mullamast as part of theM9 motorway project.

The route is 60 km (37 mi) long.
