Ram Sarup Lugani (known as R.S.Lugani) (25 January 1927 – 22 May 2021)[1][2] was aneducationist who pioneered theDelhi Public School, R. K. Puram.[3]
Lugani has completed his education from Punjab and Agra University. Lugani has acquired teaching and administration experience fromManchester Grammar School, UK. His father was aSanskrit teacher.[4]
Lugani was the first headmaster and principal ofDelhi Public School, R. K. Puram.[5]
In 1992 he received the prestigiousPadma Shri Award for Excellence in Literature & Education.[6]
