Raja Kuhaneswaran (born 15 May 1960; also known asIrasa Kuganeswaran) is aSri Lankan Tamil politician and former Member of Parliament.

Kuhaneswaran was born on 15 May 1960.[1] He is aHindu.[1]

Kuhaneswaran contested the1989 parliamentary election as one of theTamil Eelam Liberation Organization's candidates inVanni District and was elected toParliament.[2] He was not re-elected at the1994 parliamentary election.

Kuhaneswaran contested the2000 parliamentary election and was re-elected.[3] He was re-elected at the2001 parliamentary election as aTamil National Alliance candidate.[4] He did not contest the2004 parliamentary election after failing to get nominated.[5]
