Rémi Gomis (born 14 February 1984) is a former professionalfootballer who played as amidfielder. Born in France, he played for theSenegal national team.
Gomis began his career withStade Lavallois and signed forStade Malherbe Caen in summer 2007.[1] On 13 July 2009, he moved toValenciennes FC on a four-year contract after two years with Caen. He went to Spanish clubLevante UD in summer 2013, but six months after that he broke the contract and left Levante returning to theLigue 1, joiningFC Nantes. In August 2016, he moved to Swiss clubFC Wil.[2]
Gomis played his first match withSenegal in 2008.[3]
