TheQalamoun Mountains (Arabic:جبال القلمون,romanized: Jabāl al-Qalamūn) are the northeastern portion of theAnti-Lebanon Mountains, and they are northeast of the Syrian capitalDamascus. They run fromBarada River Valley in the southwest to the city ofHisyah in the northeast.
