TheHauran Sanjak (Turkish:Havrân Sancağı,Arabic:سنجق حوران) was asanjak of theOttoman Empire, spanning the southern areas ofOttoman Syria, located in modern-daySyria andJordan. The city ofDaraa was the sanjak's capital. The sanjak had a population of 182,805 in 1914.[1]
