Putalabai Bhosale (néePalkar) was the third queen of theMaratha kingChhatrapatiShivaji. She was from Palkar Family^{[citation needed]} and married Shivaji in 1653.^[1] Putalabai had no children. She committedSati after the death of Shivaji.^[1]
