ThePromenade de la Croisette (French:[pʁɔm(ə)naddəlakʁwazɛt]), orBoulevard de la Croisette, is a prominent road inCannes, France. It stretches along the shore of theMediterranean Sea and is about 2 km long. The Croisette is known for thePalais des Festivals et des Congrès, where theCannes Film Festival is held. Many expensive shops, upscale restaurants, and hotels (such as theCarlton,Majestic,JW Marriott Cannes, andMartinez) line the road. It goes completely along the coastline of Cannes.
The Croisette is listed in thecultural heritage general inventory of France.[1]
