Priyanshu Chatterjee (born 20 February 1973) is an Indian Bengali actor and formermodel known for his works inHindi andBengali cinema.^[2] He made his Hindi film debut inTum Bin in 2001. His other recognized work includesAapko Pehle Bhi Kahin Dekha Hai,Dil Ka Rishta,Pinjar,Bhootnath,Hate Story 3,Baadshaho andShikara.^[3]

He was married to modelMalini Sharma and they divorced in 2001.^[4]

Priyanshu Chatterjee started his modelling career working with projects such as Digjam's Print Campaign,Wills Cigarettes,Levi's andFour Square.^[5][3] Following this, he appeared in anUdit Narayan music video.^[6] Chatterjee made his silver screen acting debut withTum Bin (2001), aromantic drama.Bollywood Hungama, while reviewingTum Bin, wrote of Chatterjee's performance "Priyanshu has the meatier role and he performs it with utmost sincerity."^[7] After the success ofTum Bin, the director of the film,Anubhav Sinha, decided to cast Priyanshu Chatterjee in his next project, which wasAapko Pehle Bhi Kahin Dekha Hai, co-starringSakshi Shivanand,Om Puri andFarida Jalal. In the same year, he starred in two more films;Dil Ka Rishta, co-starringAishwarya Rai and the other film beingPinjar, which also starredSandali Sinha. In 2004, he starred in two unsuccessful films;Woh, andMadhoshi. In 2008, he had a small role in the multi-starrerBhoothnath, where he played the son of Bhoothnath, portrayed byAmitabh Bachchan.^[8] In 2015, he was seen in a cameo inHate Story 3.^[2]
