Pristerodontia is a group ofdicynodonttherapsids that includescryptodontids,geikiids,lystrosaurids,kannemeyeriids, and other related forms. Pristerodontians were one of the few groups of dicynodonts to survive thePermian–Triassic extinction event, diversifying in theTriassic.[1]
