ThePrime Minister of Bulgaria (Bulgarian:Министър-председател на България) is thehead of government ofBulgaria. They are oftentimes the leader of apolitical coalition in the Bulgarianparliament, known as theNational Assembly, and the leader of thecabinet. At times, the Prime Minister has been appointed by thePresident of Bulgaria, in order to lead acaretaker government.[1] The current Prime Minister isRosen Zhelyazkov, who has served since 16 January 2025.[2]
